FAQ
- Question:
Does LinkSprite 4TV WiFi compress the content when it sends data to TV from smartphone or PC?
Answer:
Our device does differently in different modes: if it is in multimedia DLNA mode, it will transmit directly without compression. If it is in mirror mode, it will compress first before transmit.
- Question:
If the resolution of the smartphone or PC is high, will there be frames lost when transmitting video to TV? For the compression, what's the requirement of the CPU of the mobile device?
Answer:
In multimedia DLNA mode, the resolution can reach 1080P 30fps. No frame will be lost. In mirror mode, it will compress before transmitting. If the resolution of PC is 1080P, the PC requirement needs to be 1080P 30fps. If it's a smartphone, the resolution is 800X480 24fps, it needs Cortex A8 1GHz or the CPU has hardware accelerator. If it's a tablet of resolution 1024X600, 24fps, it needs Cortex A9 dual core 1GHz or the CPU has hardware accelerator.
- Question:
If the resolution doesn't match, TV will stretch to full screen, is the ratio fixed or configured by software?
Answer:
It can be configured by the software.
